Little Miss C was such a good baby. She did really well while we did pictures indoors, but boy, when we took her outside she immediately snuggled into the blanket, got really cuddly, and closed her eyes. She wasn’t actually asleep but she looked like she was enjoying the warmth of the sun. Such a cutie.
My friend, Amy, reminded her parents that their kids didn’t have any recent pictures of them. She begged, pleaded, and (I believe) demanded them to take the opportunity while in from out of town to have some pictures taken. I have to say I think a lot of excuses were given and they were a bit reluctant…so she apologized in advance to me for their non-cooperative behavior. BUT…they were awesome, I had a fun time, and I really hope they ended up having fun, too. I think they did because there are quite a few playful, loving, having-a-good-time-with-each-other type of pictures out of the shoot. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Ok, I have to say that I’m pretty proud of myself for getting a Monday blog post up. I used to always try to start the week off with a new post and have totally been slacking lately, and since it’s 12:06am, then technically, it’s not only a Monday post…it’s a early morning Monday blog post. Ha!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was super busy, but fun. We went Saturday night to eat seafood on the water and just as we got there a huge storm began. We were sat and had our drinks and food ordered and the restaurant electricity went out. Luckily, we were out on a covered patio-type area and still had a little outdoor gloomy light. Our server brought some candle lanterns and we had to ask the most important question. Can they still prepare the food??? “Yes,” he answered, so all was good. It was kind of freaky to see the clouds rolling over the bay and lightening striking straight down to the water all around us. But we did get our yummy food, ate by candlelight, and were done right about the time the storm passed by.
This sneak peek is for the sweetest family! We did some indoor and outdoor shots for this session. Mom really wished that she had done some naked baby pictures long ago and realized that her daughter was about to be too big so we caught a few of those, but she also loves the outdoor shots that have all the color of the outdoors so we headed out after some inside shots. The kids were so good, even in the Tx mid-day dripping-wet heat. Hope you enjoy!

Sorry I haven’t updated in so long. It’s been crazy with end-of-school-year activities. We’re in full summer swing now and I’m hoping to be able to keep up with photography business.
This senior wasn’t totally thrilled to have to do senior pics but had a great “let’s make mom happy and get this done” attitude. He even took out his earrings and dressed up for the first set. Next he climbed a tree to please mom. She said that’s how she remembers him growing up…always climbing in the trees. And I loved the blue guitar he brought. Thanks for the great photoshoot! came naturally to this senior. Her mom and cousin were along for the photoshoot and they kept me laughing while they gave her good-natured heckles the whole time. At one point I asked her if she was spoiled since she was the baby of the family and her reply went something like this:
“You could say I’m kind of spoiled, but really, we all like to work for what we have”. I was most impressed. You’ve done a great job with your daughter Dee Anna. I hope you all enjoy the sneak peek!

She’s graduating from the same high school that I went to eeeooonnnsss ago. Same colors, but so much has changed. Having just met her and only working with her for a short time I could really see some amazing qualities shining through. I know she’s going to have a super-successful future at college and I was immediately drawn to the sensitive soul that she has(she’s an animal lover like me and that’s always a plus). I love when seniors have their own ideas for posing. This brown-eyed beauty helped me come up with a lot of fun poses that are actually some of my favorites from the group. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek Miss N.
First let me say that she thinks she can’t take a good picture…um, ok that’s definitely not true! Second, I’ve never been on a photoshoot where there’s been so many vehicles driving by that decided they need to honk or whistle (and it wasn’t because of me). And third, she had me cracking up the entire time. She uses some verbage that I either had never heard or don’t hear much. In fact, she said that she didn’t see any fugly pictures on my site. I’ve heard the word before but never in association with my pictures. So I told her to please let me know if she does because I most certainly don’t want fugly pictures on there. Ha! She’s 6 feet tall, and I’m pretty sure that people must tell her she needs to be a model on a daily basis(even though she denied this I don’t believe her:) Enjoy your sneak peek R.
