This shoot went so easy that I was nervous that something was going to go wrong between me taking the photos to actually getting them home and on the computer. Never fear though…they’re on the computer and backed up. Their 7-year-old was the best ever. His stomach starting hurting but he hung in there til the end. Hope you enjoy the sneak peek!

Another 4-day old
My kids have been watching a Tinkerbell movie and Drew keeps calling her Tiggerbell…you should see how much this bothers Cassidy. She corrects him and he just keeps saying Tiggerbell. And you know how when you’re little you would “pick” the person that you wanted to “be”?
Cassidy: Drew, you can be that boy fairy.
Drew: No, I want to be Tiggerbell.
Cassidy: It’s not TIGGERBELL!! It’s Tinkerbell.
Drew: No, it’s Tiggerbell.
Cassidy: If you don’t say her name right you can’t be her!And if Drew knows this bothers her then he’ll call her Tiggerbell for the rest of his life:)
This little girl was 4 days old and was such a little sweetie. She slept and was extremely easy-going. I could have taken pictures all day:)

4-days old
This is the newest member of the family for one of my recent maternity shoots that I posted a few weeks back. It’s pretty funny that in most of these pictures this little one appears to be sleeping because he really didn’t sleep at all. At just 4 days old I thought that he would be a sleepy little guy but he did not want to miss any of the action.
Hope you guys enjoy your peek:)

Maternity shoot and a tired pup
This maternity photo shoot took me back in time. She was one of my first maternity clients ever and she’s back with baby-to-be #2. She looks just as great as the first time…2007 pics. We just did indoor shots this time because it’s so hot, hot, HOT! I can’t wait to do the newborn pictures!
A minute ago Drew was playing games on the laptop and he was having trouble getting the volume up. I hear him yell this twice: “This computer is so busted!” Where he gets this stuff I don’t know.
And the pictures at the bottom of this post are of our pup Cosmo. We had taken him to the dog park and when we got home I gave him a bath. Normally when I’m done I’ll back up from the tub and give him permission to hop out where I can dry him. And let me say he usually jumps out so fast that he gets me wet in the process. But this night when I backed up he just gave me this pitiful look because he was so tired. He then proceeded to close his eyes and the back half of his body actually started to fall over while his chin was still resting on the side of the tub. I guess it’s hard work socializing with your pup friends at the park:)

Smiles and Dimples
This little boy hands-down gets the award for the most smiles. He smiled every couple of minutes…but boy were they fleeting. I guess he knows how to show off those adorable dimples. He was really good for us…for which I was really grateful! I hope you guys enjoy the sneak peek of your precious little boy.

Celebrating 25 years
This wonderful couple did a 25-year anniversary vow renewal and decided that it would be a great time to have some family pictures of just themselves and some with their 2 kids. They apologized for the broken wood on the pier and the multiplied lily pads in the pond but it was an amazing setting. All of the details added to their pictures and I loved the location.
I hope you guys had an amazing ceremony with your friends and family. Enjoy the sneak peek:)

So Sweet
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. I enjoyed having a few days off and now I need to play catch up! Mackenzie is taking a sewing class that a friend of hers talked her into and she is already teaching me things:) My mom always sewed but I never had any interest. A friend of my sister-in-law gave me a sewing machine to use for scrapbooking (back when I had time for that, ha) and it mainly sits without use. I’ll take it out about once a year, get a quick lesson from my mother-in-law on threading it and then make some curtains. And believe me, I need a lesson every.single.time because I go so long in between using it! I’m sure I’m not doing the curtains totally correctly but they look good. Instead of patterns I’m kind of a wing it and figure it out kind of girl. Well, right now I’m in the process of re-doing our study into more of a studio that will be good for doing pictures of newborns or 1 or 2 children at a time(it’s not too big). I bought some fabric from here and I’ve been looking at it for a week. Well, yesterday the girls decided they wanted to sew so we spent hours cutting the curtain fabric, making pillows, and they made their American Girl dolls some clothes. My mom will NEVER believe it! But it was fun and I’m closer to being done. If anyone is in this area the store that I mentioned is AMAZING and I’ll also share soon how I make a cheap curtain rod.
I’ve really been enjoying the newborns. They are just so sweet! This little guy was very alert and super strong. Sorry for the wait on the sneak peek…I hope you enjoy these:)
