  • Sneak Peeks

Here are the last of the sneak peeks from last weekend. Hope y’all enjoy!

  • Mr. S and His Dog Katie

He is at such a fun age. He was exploring, throwing sticks for his dog, filling his pockets with rocks, and discovering that if you put your hand inside your sleeve it looks like you don’t have a hand. Once he discovered that little trick he showed his dog with a huge smile on his face. Adorable~!

    Hope you enjoy the peek:)

Yes, Katie the dog is wet. She went swimming in the creek!

    Look at my cool trick….

  • Pink Shoes & a Tutu

Little Miss R is turning the big “1” and we got together for some pictures to celebrate. Loved her birthday outfit with the tutu and the bright pink shoes. She is stylin’!

  • The E Family

I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day:) I’ve actually had a couple of days of some down time and it’s been good! Each of the kids have gotten to do something special and we were able to have a date night last night.

This is one of my regular families that I started doing pictures for when their first child was born. And now I’ve done their second child’s newborn pics and now she’s ONE. I can’t believe how fast it seems like their kids have grown. They are definitely one of the sweetest families that I know! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek of pictures guys.

  • Mr. K – One Year

It was SO HOT! I can’t even explain how hot it was for this session. If there was any wind this day it came to a complete standstill while we were doing Mr. K’s one-year-old pics. His poor cake was even melting. He was a great sport though and once we started the cake he was an extremely happy little boy.

  • Just Turned Two

They had just turned two and from what mom and dad said they were being opposite of what they usually are. Miss B normally wears a bow but pulled hers out over and over where Miss L usually won’t leave a bow in and she left hers alone during the pictures. The twin that normally smiles a lot was not giving up a lot of smiles and her sister was. You just never know! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek:)

Check out their new rides! Pretty sweet.

  • Miss E & Miss B

I think I’m going to have to hand over the title of Miss Busy to this little sister. She was so quick and good at not looking towards me. She was a new walker when I last saw her and not very mobile but that has changed!

Both sisters have the most gorgeous eyes

  • Little Charmer

Last time I saw Mr. B he was practically bald and immobile and now (especially because of his first haircut) he can move and looks like a little boy! Where does the time go? He was definitely a little charmer giving me hugs and wanting me to hold him.

I just adore his mom and grandma and got to meet dad this time around too.

While we were following him around I happened to see a friend of mine and her family drive by and they waved. The next day she teased me saying that at first they saw a toddler walking through a grassy field with weeds without a shirt and wondered who in the world would have a half naked toddler trampling through there possibly getting bit by mosquitoes. And that’s when they saw me. And she said it all made sense. They all said “Aaaahhhh, Laura would do this!” And to my defense the grass that we let him walk in wasn’t THAT tall (we carried him through the big stuff), we shooed any bugs away, and just about any photographer would do this:) I mean just because I took you and your kids to a dumpster for some pictures right after you moved in…..

It was sooooo good to see and hang with you guys again. Hope you enjoy the peek:)

This boy can rock a hat!

  • Mr. L…aka Moose

Here’s Moose again. He’s my niece’s favorite little “boy” friend that she’s known almost since birth. They go to daycare together and both of them light up when I say the other ones name.

He’s such a good little photo subject. I have a canvas in my computer room of him smiling as a newborn…he smiled when he was 8 months old and we sat him in a wooden crate on the sidewalk downtown…and now he is smiling in most of the pictures from this session. Thanks you Mr. L for always making it easy (I’d better bite my tongue, right?)!!!

  • Little Cowboy and His Cousins

Growing up I always wished that I had more cousins my age. I was born later for my parents…my sister and brother were already teenagers and most of my cousins were their age also. So, when I met up with Mr. K and his cousins I couldn’t help but feel excited for them. They’re all under six and live pretty close to each other.

Mr. K took a huge liking to the little green chair and once he did then he didn’t want any pictures without it (as you can see below…even in the group pic). He had been so good for his newborn shoot and then the one before Christmas and I was hoping that he was just as agreeable and happy for this one. And he was! His smile lights up his eyes and makes him the perfect little model. It was a pleasure seeing you again Mr. K and thanks for bringing your cousins along:)
