Introducing my new niece

WARNING: This is a picture overload…but to my defense we have done 2 sessions. We did one at 10 days old and then another at 15 and normally I would say that the sooner the better with newborns but she did a little better on the 15-day session.

I think she is absolutely precious and I don’t know if she is helping me to get a baby fix or waking the uterus up:) She was a little early and on the smaller side but that has not stopped her from knowing exactly what she does and doesn’t like. She is definitely the boss! We only got her into a deep sleep for a little while. Otherwise, she wants her hands in her mouth and she squirms and squirms and squirms! We think that she may have a little attitude, too. During her first pictures that the hospital took she was “shooting” the finger and in some of mine she looks like she’s saying “peace”. She loves to smile but of course will only do that when the camera is not in my hands. Such a little stinker! But I love her and can’t wait to see her this evening!

Now, looking at these pictures she looks like she was asleep the whole time but let me tell you that these pictures are deceiving:)

Don’t ask me why but for some reason her daddy is a Colts fan. Hello! You live in Houston!!
